Logan Wissing, MA, LCPC
Clinical Therapist

- MORE ABOUT LOGAN -

What are your areas of experience?
My clinical experience is rooted in nonprofit and community mental health settings. I specialize in working with women in their 20s and 30s who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, family and relationship stress, and the pressures of major life transitions.

My work is often focused on creating a safe, affirming space for young women to explore their sense of self, process difficult experiences, build emotional resilience, and cultivate a more compassionate inner voice. I have experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those impacted by generational trauma, systemic inequities, and social or cultural marginalization.

What are your clinical interests?
I am particularly interested in working with individuals experiencing generalized anxiety and panic disorders, health related anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, trauma and complex PTSD, burnout and stress, self- worth and identity exploration.

I am also passionate about supporting those with sensitive nervous systems, who are highly empathetic and are recovering from dysfunctional family dynamics. I also offer gender affirming therapy.

How would you describe your therapeutic approach?
I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and collaboration. I believe that each person is the expert of their own experience, and my role is to walk alongside you with evidence-based tools, deep listening, and genuine compassion. My work is trauma informed, attachment focused, and strengths based. I prioritize creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard and empowered in their healing process.

Are there any specialized trainings or treatment models that you frequently incorporate?
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Solution Focused Therapy (SFT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Motivational Interviewing (MI)

I also work from a trauma-informed and strengths-based lens; and I often integrate psychoeducation with self-compassion and emotional literacy.

What are your hobbies?
I find joy in anything creative! Art, music, writing. I love spending time in nature and often find myself grounding in outdoor spaces. I am passionate about learning, and I enjoy reading about holistic wellness. I also enjoy moments of mindful rest in between going on new adventures with my husband, kids, and dogs.
