What are your areas of experience?
Community outreach and engagement, mental health counseling, advocacy, case management, resource navigation and referrals, crisis intervention and relationship building.

What are your clinical interests?
I am a compassionate Community Outreach Coordinator and MHP, who is passionate about supporting individuals and communities through mental health challenges. My clinical interests are trauma-informed care, substance abuse, anxiety and depression, crisis intervention, emotional wellness and client advocacy. I am committed to empowering individuals through compassionate support, education and connection to resources.

How would you describe your therapeutic approach?
I would say my approach is client-centered, compassionate and strength-based. I focus on creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel heard, safe, respected and understood. I help clients identify their strengths, develop healthy coping skills and work towards their personal goals and overall well-being. I offer art and other interests with my clients to do during sessions.

Are there any specialized trainings or treatment models that you frequently incorporate?
Art therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing

What are your hobbies?
Outside of work, I enjoy photography, art of many forms, reading, cooking, hunting, fishing, rock hunting, road trips and exploring nature. I love music and concerts; I play the bass and have a lifelong appreciation for movies and memorable movies as I live off them. I enjoy making whimsical art, discovering new places and spending quality time with my family. I’m happiest when I’m creating something, exploring something or trying new things.
