Halley Holm, MSW, QMHP
Youth Clinical Therapist

- MORE ABOUT HALLEY -

What are your areas of experience?
I have experience supporting adults and youth in community mental health. I have 4 years of previous experience working with youth through therapeutic recreation, as well.

What are your clinical interests?
I work with children, adolescents, and young adults to develop the skills needed to navigate everyday life and process aspects of their past that may be affecting them today. Learning to navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship dynamics, self-esteem, grief, and more is a collaborative effort where we can use the strengths you already have.

How would you describe your therapeutic approach?
My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and person-centered. I meet the client and their family where they are at, so we can all learn together. Working with clients to discover their strengths and empowering them to make the changes they want to make is a passion of mine. My goal is to create a supportive, compassionate, and welcoming place for clients to feel safe in.

Are there any specialized trainings or treatment models that you frequently incorporate?
I frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Strengths-Based, Person-Centered, and Trauma Informed.

What are your hobbies?
I love to spend time with my dogs and cats; I truly believe that the unconditional love I get from my pets is so beneficial for my own mental health. I also love to craft, especially fiber arts and making my own clothes, and I would love to include crafting in sessions if it is desired. Lastly, spending time with family, friends, and watching TV shows and movies are ways I gladly spend my time.
