Hi! My name is Augie, and I’m a yellow lab. A lot of things make me nervous, like getting my nails clipped, going in the pool, and long car rides. My mom has worked really hard to help me overcome these fears, but I still try to avoid them whenever possible. My mom, Becky, jokes that I can’t control my licker, because I love giving kisses. Sometimes I get so excited, I want to jump up on people. I’ve made a lot of progress, but you might see me give a little hop as my way of containing my excitement. I tend to be a bit more vocal than my sister, Katie, but I’m just trying to make sure you know I’m here.

Overall, I’m a very happy dog. I love playing tug of war, and my favorite activity is playing keep away from my sister and moms. They’ve taught me to release and drop it, and I listen really well. I can also give you my paw and a high five. If you have any questions or concerns about my presence in the building, please let our receptionist know.
