What are your clinical interests?
I am passionate about empowering clients to recognize their strengths, build self-confidence, and create meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.
How would you describe your therapeutic approach?
I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel safe, supported and genuinely understood. My approach is client-centered, compassionate and collaborative, with a focus on meeting each client where they are. I strive to build a trusting, therapeutic relationship while creating an inclusive, culturally responsive environment where individuals from all backgrounds, identities, cultures and life experiences feel welcomed, respected and valued. I recognize that every person's story is unique, and I tailor my approach to each client's individual needs, values and goals. My goal is to help clients build on their strengths, develop healthy coping skills and create meaningful, lasting change while feeling accepted and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
Are there any specialized trainings or treatment models that you frequently incorporate?
I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Person-Centered Therapy. I also utilize a strengths-based approach to tailor treatment to each client's needs.
What are your hobbies?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, friends and my community. I love being creative through crafting, staying socially connected, traveling and spending time outdoors.
