- MORE ABOUT ABIGAIL -

What are your areas of experience?
Throughout my years of experience, I have worked with a diverse range of individuals presenting with various behaviors and symptoms. The most common diagnoses I encounter are Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, and depression. I also have experience working with individuals diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

What are your clinical interests?
I am passionate about providing psychoeducation to help children and adolescents manage their emotions, whether related to traumatic experiences or everyday challenges. I also find it deeply meaningful to support individuals who have experienced severe trauma, working collaboratively with their parents as they navigate the behaviors and symptoms that arise from these experiences.

How would you describe your therapeutic approach?
My goal is always to provide education, guidance, and compassion every step of the way. I believe that each client is the expert of their own life. My approach involves working collaboratively with clients and their families to better understand the emotions and behaviors they’re experiencing so that treatment can be thoughtfully tailored to their unique needs. I deeply value unconditional, positive regard and strive to create a space where every client feels genuinely loved and accepted. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you, because you’re not broken. It’s about healing, growing, and coming home to yourself. You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin – I will meet you exactly where you are, walk alongside you, and provide a steady, supportive space where your whole self is welcome.

Are there any specialized trainings or treatment models that you frequently incorporate?
I often find myself incorporating Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy into my sessions along with psychoeducation. Certified in Theraplay Model.

What are your hobbies?
I can often be found spending time with fur-baby, Milo. I enjoy reading or listening to a podcast, hitting the gym or practicing yoga.
